At our workshop in the heart of the San Diego Diamond District & Jewelry Exchange, The Louise Bangle begins as an idea drawn from the elegant balance between minimalism and bold sophistication. From there, the process becomes deeply personal.
We start by carefully selecting the perfect diamonds—each one ethically sourced and examined under magnification to ensure clarity and brilliance.Next, a seasoned artisan forms the 14K gold—available in yellow, white, or rose—into a graceful circular silhouette. This step requires both force and finesse, as the gold is shaped using traditional hand tools, then repeatedly polished to achieve a mirror-like finish.
Once the structure is complete, the true artistry begins: hand-setting the trio of diamonds into the gold band. This is done under a microscope, allowing our jeweler to secure each stone with immaculate precision. The placement of the diamonds—balanced and deliberate—adds a shimmer that catches the light from every anglewithout overwhelming the minimalist design.
