Our Medium Lapis Lazuli Corazon Ringin 14k Yellow Gold was born from a moment of creative clarity in our workshop nestled within the San Diego Diamond District & Jewelry Exchange.At first glance, its bold lapis lazuli heart catches the eye—but for us, it’s the journey behind it that gives this ring its soul.
We began with a single piece of lapis lazuli—hand-selected for its deep cobalt blue and golden flecks of pyrite—sourced with care and intention. This isn’t just any stone; it’s a stone we hold up to the light, examine from every angle, and cut only when it speaks to us. Shaping it into a smooth heart required a delicate touch—a blend of intuition and experience, honed over years. The heart had to be bold but not heavy, rich in hue but balanced in scale.
Once we achieved the perfect shape, we set it in solid 14k yellow gold—warm, lustrous, and cast by hand in our studio molds. We then added a brilliant round diamond, bezel-set with precision, right above the lapis heart. This tiny accent is more than decorative—it’s symbolic. It represents clarity amidst depth, light against color, and a nod to modern simplicity within a vintage silhouette.
