Creating this ring was an intimate process that began with a single stone. We searched through dozens of turquoise hearts, seeking one with a deep blue-green vibrancy and just the right organic veining—a pattern that tells its own story of time, earth, and energy. Once chosen, the turquoise was gently shaped and polished by hand, a process requiring delicate handling to preserve its natural beauty without compromising strength.
We then custom-formed the 14k gold setting to cradle the heart with both structure and grace. This gold was drawn, cut, and shaped in our workshop—not outsourced, not mass-produced. Every curve of the bezel, every polish on the band, is done by hand, right here in San Diego. A petite diamond was set flush within the gold, providing a quiet gleam to contrast the boldness of the turquoise.
Balancing color and craftsmanship took days of adjustment, as we refined the fit between stone and setting, tested the symmetry, and ensured comfort in wear.
