Inside our studio at the San Diego Diamond District & Jewelry Exchange, the idea for this piece began with a single sketch—an ancient eye motif reimagined with clean lines and delicate proportions.
We weren’t just designing a symbol of protection; we were distilling centuries of tradition into something quietly powerful and wearable every day.
Once the final dimensions were chosen, we began with a sheet of pure 14K gold. The challenge was in the balance: capturing the almond shape of the eye in just 14mm x 6mm without losing elegance or detail.
Every pendant is hand-cut using a fine saw—there are no templates, no machine stamps. Each curve is guided by hand and eye.
Setting the diamond was its own meticulous process. We use a 2.5mm natural diamond for its size-to-sparkle ratio—small enough to preserve the piece’s subtlety, but brilliant enough to catch light from every angle.
Each stone is handset under a microscope to ensure perfect centering, and flush-set so that it sits securely inside the gold with a mirror-finish polish around its bezel.
After hours of hand-finishing, every pendant is paired with your choice of a 16" or 18" matching 14K gold chain—lightweight but strong, chosen to complement the pendant’s sleek profile.
