This necklace began, as all our pieces do, with a story. The selected peridot was chosen during one of our early-morning gem sourcing visits—its electric green stood out immediately under natural light.
We held it to the sun and saw its clarity, its warmth. That’s when we knew it was meant for something more sculptural, more grounded—something like our signature Cuban link.
Creating the bezel for this stone wasn’t rushed. The depth of the peridot demanded a precise contour—too loose, and the stone would shift; too tight, and we’d risk chipping the gem.
We hand-formed the gold around the stone with micro tools and a custom template made specifically for this setting.
Then came the Cuban link. Each link was cast, sanded, and polished individually, then soldered with torchwork to ensure seamless, durable connections.
Once assembled, the final touch was balance. We tested the drape and weight repeatedly—adjusting link tension so the pendant would sit flat, exactly at the collarbone, no matter how you moved.
