This necklace started with a single, hand-selected topaz—chosen not just for color, but for life. The gem’s vibrant pink hue needed to speak for itself, so we began by hand-cutting the gold bezel to frame it with perfect symmetry.
A bezel setting is deceptively simple—it requires incredible precision to ensure the stone is secure while allowing as much light to pass through as possible.
The challenge with this piece came in the weight and balance. Cuban link chains are known for their boldness, but they need exacting proportions to drape comfortably.
We crafted a modified 16" chain with tighter links to allow the pendant to sit naturally at the center, catching the light with every movement.
Each link was individually cast, cleaned, and assembled by hand—our team working slowly, measuring each millimeter so that the pink topaz would rest without tilting or pulling.
Once the final polish was applied, the chain and charm were joined and tested for strength and flexibility before being boxed for you.
