Crafted in radiant 14K gold-fill and paired with a sleek 20” wheat chain, this piece is meant to be worn with purpose—whether as a personal mantra or as a statement of strength and self-expression.
When we designed the x Regardless Large Dog Tag in our San Diego studio, the goal wasn’t just to create a necklace—it was to create armor. The kind you put on every morning as a quiet defiance against doubt, limitation, or conformity.
The process began with a substantial sheet of 14K gold-filled metal. Unlike thinner tags, this one required careful weight calibration to strike the perfect balance between boldness and wearability.
Our master jeweler, using a hand press and hardened steel die, cut each dog tag with precision—any shift of alignment would scrap the piece.
The next challenge was the surface finish. Each tag goes through three stages of hand-sanding, buffing, and ultrasonic cleaning to achieve that mirror-like shine without losing its crisp geometry.
The signature “x Regardless” engraving is then applied with controlled force using a fine-point diamond-tipped tool. We do this engraving one tag at a time—not automated—so the spacing, depth, and layout are always visually balanced.
Finally, we selected the 20” wheat chain for its distinctive texture and durability. Its tight, woven links catch the light from every angle, making it both refined and resilient—just like the message it carries.
This necklace isn’t about trends—it’s about truth. Whether layered with finer pieces or worn on its own, the x Regardless Large Dog Tag adds grit, shine, and intention to any outfit. It’s both an accessory and an affirmation, made to remind you: keep going, regardless.
Each necklace is made to order in our workshop in the San Diego Diamond District & Jewelry Exchange. Every line, edge, and polish is touched by hand—ensuring a final piece that reflects the time, skill, and soul behind it.
