In the heart of the San Diego Diamond District & Jewelry Exchange, surrounded by the scent of polishing wax and the distant buzz of micro-tools, we set out to create a piece that spoke to resilience—without saying a word.
The rectangular tag began as a blank sheet of gold-filled metal, hand-cut and shaped using ultra-fine jewelers’ saws. We spent days refining its size and edge finish, seeking just the right balance between presence and restraint.
The engraving of “x Regardless” wasn’t done by machine—it was hand-set by one of our artisans using a precision graver, requiring steady hands, magnification, and an acute sense of symmetry.
The result is a message that feels both personal and powerful, never overpowering. Once completed, the tag is polished in stages—buffed, tumbled, and finished by hand to give it a smooth sheen with depth.
